Some of you already know this Chris and I got engaged on November 8th! We are both so excited. We plan on getting married in Maui first part of June 2010 with a reception at home July 3, 2010.

Proposal Story:
I had been in Mexico for a week shooting a wedding. When I came home from a LONG day of traveling Chris picked me up in Seattle around 1 am and drove me home. When we walked into our house Pumpkin (my favorite kitty) came running toward me I asked Chris why does she have a collar on? He just said go see her she missed you. Turns out Pumpkin had the Ring on her collar. I turned around and Chris was down on one knee!!! All I could do was giggle and say yes of course. While I was gone in Mexico he went to my parents house and asked for their permission!

The Ring:
This ring is very special to me. The ring was my Grandma’s (Edna) she had left if for me when she passed on. She told me she wanted it to be my engagement ring. So when Chris asked my parents permission my mom gave Chris the ring. Another unexpected part of the story: Chris had no idea but the day he proposed was November 8th, 2009 the 3 year anniversary of my Grandma passing. Is that a sign or what. I know my Grandma is very proud and happy for us. She hoped I would marry Chris.

I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with Chris. I only waited 5 1/2 years!!! Had to add that part in.
