Lately……

I have been busy!!! You may have noticed lots of new blog posts. I had four shoots last weekend. In between shooting and editing I listened to Jasmine Star on CreativeLive that was sooo awesome. On Monday I went to WPPI Roadtrip in Seattle. It was a great experience. Needless to say I have been one busy girl!

On Creative Live and at WPPI I had the opportunity to listen to Jasmine Star speak what a inspiring person she is. She talked about keeping it real and being true to yourself and who YOU are.

Over the last couple months I have realized how much I enjoy photographing high school seniors…. I think I may have found my niche. I am thinking about specializing in Senior Portrait Photography. I really would like to shoot a few more weddings this year even as a second shooter I am hoping that I will get the opportunity soon

Most of you by now have noticed that I updated my blog site a few weeks ago…. Well, there is a BIG change coming to my website VERY soon! I am so excited about it. I cannot wait to see what everyone thinks of it. You can also now access my website from MelisaLynn.net or Melisa-Lynn.com

Reception Guest Book {bellingham photographer}

For our wedding reception I created a guest book of our wedding photos. Here are a few photos of it. I can design these with engagement photos to be used at your wedding! I took these photos a couple days ago for this post…. I found out today that Color Inc. featured it on their blog here a few days ago too!

Weddings, Receptions & Relay for Life {bellingham photographer}

Sorry for the lack of blog posts lately. As most of you know Chris and I got married in Maui 2 weeks ago…..we are now home planning our reception. We have relatives and friends coming to town from Montana & California. So I have been busy with planning & stuff. Also the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Whatcom County is the week after our reception. So I have a lot going on at the moment. Sorry for the lack of posts this week we have been packing and preparing….. Chris and I leave on June 1st for Maui to get Maui’d!!!!! I have been waiting for the day I would marry Chris for the past 6 years! It has been far too long. We have been through so much together and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.
